Terms of Service

The short version: be honest with your doctors, we'll be transparent with you, and real physicians stand behind every plan. The full version follows.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Sattva Care you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. You must be 18 or older, or use the platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

2. What Sattva Care is (and is not)

Sattva Care is a telehealth platform that connects you with independent, BAMS-certified Ayurvedic physicians, licensed pharmacy partners, and wellness tools. The physicians — not Sattva Care — provide medical advice and issue prescriptions.

Sattva Care is NOT an emergency service. For chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, suicidal thoughts, or any emergency, call 112 or 108 immediately.

AI features (assessments, report summaries, AskSattva) provide wellness guidance only. They never diagnose or prescribe, and every AI-prepared treatment plan requires physician approval before it reaches you.

3. Your account

Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Two-factor authentication is available to all users and mandatory for physicians and administrators.

Provide accurate health information — your care quality depends on it. Impersonation or false credentials lead to immediate termination.

4. Consultations and cancellations

Consultations are booked in advance and conducted by video, voice, or chat. Cancel 2 or more hours before the scheduled time for a full refund; later cancellations are non-refundable.

If your doctor does not join within 10 minutes of the scheduled start, you receive an automatic full refund.

5. Medicines and orders

Ayurvedic medicines are dispensed against a physician-approved prescription or treatment plan and delivered by our pharmacy partners, typically within 3–5 days.

Pre-dispatch cancellations are fully refunded. Damaged or incorrect items reported within 48 hours of delivery are replaced or refunded in full.

Follow the dosage guidance in your prescription. Tell your physician about other medication you take.

6. Payments, plans, and refunds

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Prices include GST where applicable and a tax invoice is issued for every payment.

Care plans renew automatically each cycle; you can cancel renewal anytime — benefits continue until the period ends. New subscriptions cancelled within 24 hours are fully refunded.

Refunds reach your original payment method within 5–7 business days; wallet refunds are instant.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the platform: no abusive conduct toward physicians or staff, no attempts to breach security, no scraping, and no use of the platform for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

8. Liability

Medical advice is provided by independent licensed physicians who are responsible for their clinical judgement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sattva Care’s aggregate liability for platform services is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, after a mandatory good-faith attempt at resolution through our support process.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes are announced in-app and by email at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
